Bernard De Baets, Professor, PhD supervisor. Bernard De Baets holds a master's degree in mathematics, a master's degree in knowledge and technology, and a doctorate in mathematics from the University of Ghent, Belgium. He has published more than 500 papers in international journals and served on the editorial board of various international journals. He is the co-editor of the journal Fuzzy Sets and Systems. He is a recipient of the Canadian Government Award, an honorary professor at Budapest Tech University, an IFSA researcher, an honorary doctorate from the University of Turku, and a professor at Central University "Marta Abreu" de LasVillas. He received the EUSFLAT Scientific Excellence Award in 2019.
